From the Deep Well

Healing really is magic.  Dion Fortune says that magic is "the art and science of causing changes in consciousness in accordance with will."  How we think and how we respond to the world around us can break us down or build us up. Even leave us feeling stagnant and going nowhere fast.  The magic of healing comes when we figure out how to get out of our own way.  Old habits die hard, right?  We humans have the most amazing and resilient bodies.  These days, though, most of us have picked up habits that we didn't think about.  That's just the way it is, we say.  It's always been that way.  My mother, my grandmother, and so on have always done it that way.....

When our children are constantly coming down with some bug from school, breaking out in rashes, or we ourselves just feel run down with no obvious reason, it is time to take a closer look at what our bodies are telling us.

Taking a closer look can be just the thing for ourselves and our families to start us on a path to feeling whole again.  The added bonus is that whenever a soul in our world makes a choice, takes an action, moves along in the spiral of their life, magic and healing coincide.  This effort or allowance spreads to the unsuspecting. A healing and growing ripple effect.

Have you ever been around a person who brightens a room and have even the grumpiest person grinning, even just a little?

That was the ripple effect at work.

How you choose to think and respond to anything in you life is just that.... a choice.  Choose to be the light in the lives of those around you. This absolutely includes yourself.  Feed your well, fill it up. Love, comfort, and support.  Then spread the same energy to others. Even down to the little sparrow in your yard.  Respond with patience to someone having a rough day.  Now don't get me wrong. Just plastering a smile on your face isn't enough.  Genuine is the key.  You have to be truly present.  Listen and observe the people and the world around you.  Trust your gut.  Your instincts will whisper in your ear just the perfect for that moment response.  Don't be afraid when it says to be still and silent.  Be gentle when that little voice says to be firm.  Standing your ground doesn't have to mean aggressive.

Allow for silence in your day.  Those moments will grow and fill your well.  They will nourish your soul and give you clarity that you have never before considered possible.

It is my deepest wish for every woman to become her own healer.  But where to start?  What tools are missing? Most of us cannot spend the next 20 years trying to figure it all out.  There are shortcuts.  I have dedicated my life to heal myself and my family and I can show you the path to wholeness.  You can heal yourself and create a new foundation for your own dear family.  Here is to healthier families and a healthier world.

Be well.

Nourishment

For healing and wellness and wholeness... there is no rule book. The deepest most profound healing can come from an herb or a surgery. Wholeness can be discovered through the enjoyment of your grandmother's chicken soup made especially for you with love and gratitude or through a story given or a story heard.

Our world is so full of the deep nourishment that we need to bring wholeness and healing to ourselves. It truly is a gift of magic that we can accept on a daily basis. For ourselves and our families.

The trouble is so many people in our modern era are cut off from their own wholeness and potential for healing, because we have lost the knowledge and the senses required to seek it out.

To be well takes nourishing your whole being. Body, mind, and soul. In the process your family, your community, and the ecosystem around you can also receive nourishment. It is not an either or prospect. Wholeness through nourishment is an and both reality.

No rule book for wholeness and healing means that it can be terribly difficult to decipher and weed through the vast amount of information out there. The ability to know ourselves, to taste, hear, smell, see, and feel our way to wellness is the key. You truly are your own healer. Thankfully, you can be guided back to the wholeness path. Guides are available.

I am one such guide. Here to hold your hand, encourage you and to show you your own personal way back to yourself. Back to wholeness and wellness. Each week I will be writing a little about wholeness and the possibilities for healing ourselves, our families, and our world.

If you are looking for a guide, I am here for you. Reach out to me through the consultation and coaching page.
